i just played through date senbei!! hilariously fucked up game. though it did have me questioning a thing or two. i'd always assumed homophobia and transphobia wasn't necessarily a problem in the namiverse, considering how unapologetically queer it is (and i don't recall actively seeing any homophobia or transphobia in any of the games), so to see manjuu outright call senbei the f slur really threw me off LMAO. is this form of bigotry a thing actually present throughout the namiverse (perhaps within certain groups of people), or was it just a silly joke addition for date senbei? i don't take offense to it, i'm queer myself and i burst out laughing at it, but i was just curious.
